UAV bridge inspection capture
Close-range UAV inspection of bridges and structures with RGB or RGB-D, flight logs, and defect-view metadata.
This is a custom capture program for close-range UAV inspection of bridges and large structures. Pilots fly your airframe along inspection paths while we record imagery, pose, and defect-view metadata, including aborted approaches. It exists because standoff, glare, and wind around real spans are not the same problem as a warehouse aisle or an indoor crawler.
What we collect
Inspection passes with synchronized imagery and flight state across lighting, standoff, and structure types. Lost views, glare washouts, and go-arounds are labeled so evaluation can slice a clean pass from a recovery.
How capture works
Scoping locks airframe, sensor gimbal, and the defect taxonomy. A pilot validates sync and standoff, then capture scales across spans following robotics data collection. Time alignment uses multi-sensor synchronization when pose and imagery must stay locked.
Who it is for
Inspection robotics teams hardening close-range UAV perception. This scenario belongs to inspection robotics data collection. Interior assets are a sibling program: confined-space pipe inspection.
