This is a custom capture program for sterile-field instrument pass and retrieval on a training OR setup. Operators demonstrate passes between hands, trays, or a robot while we record synchronized RGB-D, timing events, and pass outcomes. It is not live-patient capture. It exists because sterile-field timing and instrument geometry are not a warehouse or factory handoff.
What we collect
Pass-and-retrieve episodes with timing and outcome labels across instrument sets and layouts. Missed transfers and delayed releases sit beside clean passes so evaluation can slice sync from grasp.
How capture works
A pilot validates camera placement, sync, and the pass taxonomy, then capture scales across instrument kits using multi-sensor synchronization and robotics data collection.
Who it is for
Surgical robotics teams working on OR workflow, not only tool teleoperation. The program sits under surgical robotics data collection and pairs with laparoscopic phantom teleoperation. Factory arrays remain multi-camera handoff sync.
