Construction-zone AV merge capture

Lane-merge and cone-zone driving logs with LiDAR-camera, cone layout tags, and intervention metadata.

This is a custom capture program for lane merge and cone-zone driving. We record synchronized LiDAR and cameras through live or staged tapers, tagged with cone layout and interventions. It exists because construction-zone behavior is a driving problem, not a jobsite robot problem, and rain or night logs do not isolate taper geometry and merge hesitation.

What we collect

Driving episodes through lane drops, shifts, and cone tapers with layout tags and intervention labels. Aborted merges and late yields sit beside clean passes so evaluation can slice behavior from detection.

How capture works

Scoping locks stack, route class, and whether live or closed-course tapers are used. Capture follows robotics data collection. Rare tapers and disengagements are edge-case samples.

Who it is for

Autonomous vehicle teams whose worst miles are work zones. The program sits under autonomous vehicle data collection. Jobsite robots that mark decks are construction layout stakeout, a different industry.

Scenario FAQ

No. This program is on-road driving through cone zones. Robots that mark or tie on a deck live on the construction industry pages.
