Construction layout stakeout capture
Jobsite layout marking and stakeout navigation with RGB, pose, and as-built deviation metadata for construction robots.
This is a custom capture program for jobsite layout marking and stakeout navigation. Operators drive or supervise your robot across decks and graded pads while we record RGB, ranging, and pose, tagged with mark outcomes and as-built deviation. It exists because construction sites change daily, and a clean survey model does not reproduce occluded workers, wet grade, or shifting spoil.
What we collect
Stakeout trajectories with mark-success labels across lighting, deck clutter, and grade conditions. Episodes include missed points and aborted approaches so layout eval can separate localization error from marking failure.
How capture works
A pilot validates survey control, camera height, and the deviation taxonomy, then capture scales across zones with safety review. Collection follows robotics data collection. Occluded workers and wet grade are treated as edge-case capture targets.
Who it is for
Construction robotics teams training layout and site navigation. This scenario belongs to construction robotics data collection. Contact-rich deck work is a sibling program: rebar tying teleoperation.
