Night urban LiDAR-camera capture
Night and glare urban driving logs with synchronized LiDAR-camera, lighting tags, and intervention metadata.
This is a custom capture program for night and glare urban driving logs. We record synchronized LiDAR and cameras on your stack in real streets after dark, tagged with lighting class and interventions. It exists because rain-and-low-light logs mix precipitation with darkness, and many night failures are bloom, flicker, and oncoming glare on dry pavement.
What we collect
Time-aligned LiDAR-camera episodes across streetlight density, wet-looking asphalt that is dry, and oncoming glare. Interventions and washouts are labeled so evaluation can isolate night perception from weather.
How capture works
A pilot characterizes sync and exposure, then capture scales across routes and hours using multi-sensor synchronization and robotics data collection. Rare interventions follow edge-case sampling.
Who it is for
Autonomous vehicle teams hardening night urban perception. This scenario belongs to autonomous vehicle data collection and is adjacent to rain and low-light LiDAR-camera, not a replacement for it.
