Rebar tying teleoperation capture

Teleoperated rebar tying on decks and cages with RGB-D, force traces, and tie-outcome metadata.

This is a custom capture program for teleoperated rebar tying on decks and cages. Human operators drive your tying tool through intersections while we record synchronized RGB-D, force, and joint state, tagged with tie outcomes. It exists because bar spacing, rust, and occlusion produce contact sequences that a factory insertion cell does not reproduce.

What we collect

Human-guided ties with force and depth across cage densities and deck lighting. Clean wraps sit beside slipped wire, missed intersections, and recovery attempts so evaluation reflects field tying, not a lab jig.

How capture works

Scoping locks tool, wire, and the tie taxonomy. A pilot week checks camera views inside the cage, then capture scales across decks using teleoperation capture and the standard robotics data collection process.

Who it is for

Construction robotics teams whose tying policy must survive real cages. The program sits under construction robotics data collection and pairs with construction layout stakeout when the same crew needs both mark and tie coverage.

Scenario FAQ

Yes. Tool geometry, wire type, and cage spacing are scoped to your robot before capture starts.
