Quadruped stair payload carry capture
Quadruped stair ascent with a shifting payload, including RGB or RGB-D, IMU, and slip-recovery metadata.
This is a custom capture program for quadruped stair ascent with a shifting payload. Operators or supervised policies take your four-leg platform up real stairs while we record cameras, IMU, and joint state, tagged with payload shift and slip recoveries. It exists because a biped stair log and an outdoor trail log both miss how a pack load moves on four legs at a nosing.
What we collect
Stair episodes with payload-shift and recovery labels across rise, tread, and surface. Slips, missed treads, and aborted climbs sit beside clean ascents so evaluation can slice balance from perception.
How capture works
Scoping locks morphology, payload, and the recovery taxonomy. A pilot checks camera placement and safety tethers, then capture scales across stair types using robotics data collection. Slips are deliberate edge-case samples.
Who it is for
Quadruped teams whose field kit includes stairs and a pack. This scenario belongs to quadruped robot data collection. Indoor decks without a payload focus sit on quadruped industrial patrol. Biped stairs remain humanoid stair ascent.
