Microplate handling lab automation capture
Plate grip, transfer, and lid handling on lab benches with RGB-D, liquid-risk tags, and transfer-outcome metadata.
This is a custom capture program for plate grip, transfer, and lid handling on lab benches. Operators move your labware between nests while we record RGB-D and gripper state, tagged with seating outcomes and liquid-risk. It exists because pipetting logs cover draw and dispense, not the plate and lid contacts that spill a protocol before a tip is picked.
What we collect
Transfer episodes with lid and nest-success labels across plate formats and deck layouts. Tilted plates and missed nests sit beside clean seats so evaluation can slice handling from pipetting.
How capture works
Scoping locks deck, labware, and the fail taxonomy. A pilot checks cameras over reflective lids, then capture scales using teleoperation capture and robotics data collection. Spills are edge-case samples.
Who it is for
Laboratory automation teams whose failures start at the plate, not the pipette. This scenario belongs to laboratory automation data collection and pairs with laboratory pipetting dexterity.
