Retail aisle inventory scan capture

Aisle inventory scan around shoppers and glare with RGB or RGB-D, SKU-view labels, and interruption metadata.

This is a custom capture program for aisle inventory scan around shoppers and glare. Operators or supervised autonomy walk your scanner through store aisles while we record cameras, pose, and SKU-view labels, including interruptions. It exists because shelf-restock teleoperation is a manipulation program, and a warehouse AMR log is not a planogram under retail lighting.

What we collect

Scan routes with SKU-view and interruption labels across lighting, packaging, and traffic. Occluded labels and glare washouts sit beside clean facings so evaluation can slice perception from navigation.

How capture works

Scoping locks store, sensor mast, and consent rules. A pilot checks exposure on reflective packaging, then capture scales across hours using robotics data collection. Shopper blocks are edge-case samples.

Who it is for

Retail robotics teams whose first job is seeing the shelf. This scenario belongs to retail robotics data collection and is adjacent to retail shelf restocking teleoperation, not a replacement for it.

Scenario FAQ

Restock is pick-and-place onto a shelf. This program is scan and facing observation around shoppers, not manipulation.
