Humanoid laundry hamper sort capture

Hamper sort and garment class pick with RGB-D, class labels, and pick-outcome metadata. Not a folding program.

This is a custom capture program for hamper sort and garment class pick. Operators drive your humanoid or dual-arm stack through a mixed hamper while we record RGB-D, joint state, and class labels, tagged with pick outcomes and tangles. It is not a folding program. It exists because folding starts after a garment is isolated, and that isolation is where many laundry policies fail.

What we collect

Sort-and-pick episodes with garment-class and outcome labels across mixes, hamper fills, and lighting. Tangles and hidden items sit beside clean isolations so evaluation reflects a real hamper, not a single shirt on a table.

How capture works

Scoping locks morphology, hamper, and the class taxonomy. A pilot checks camera views into the hamper, then capture scales using teleoperation capture and robotics data collection.

Who it is for

Humanoid and service robotics teams whose laundry stack must sort before it folds. This scenario belongs to humanoid robotics data collection and pairs with garment folding teleoperation for the next skill.

Scenario FAQ

No. Folding is layer handling and crease making. This program is class-and-pick from a hamper, including tangles and occluded garments.
